How do I cancel my H&R Block subscription? ›

To downgrade your account or change to H&R Block Free Online, just call us at 1-800-472-5625 and tell us what you need. When prompted, you can say any of these: Downgrade.

Every year, tax law changes require that we build new editions of our software programs. If you want to use H&R Block to file old taxes from your previous returns, we've made it easy to purchase back editions of H&R Block Tax Software.

Contact Customer Service by calling 1-866-353-1266, by mail at Cardholder Customer Service, PO Box 10170, Kansas City, MO, 64171, or visit www.hrblock.com/emeraldcard. For general information about prepaid accounts, visit cfpb.gov/prepaid.

Click on 'My Account' in the top right corner. Enter your email and password and click 'Log in'. In the 'Settings' tab, choose 'Cancel Subscription' or 'Pause Subscription'.

You can also delete your H&R Block account completely and start over by creating a new one. Choose Account Settings in the left-hand menu and choose Delete This Account. Note that if you choose this option, you won't have access to any current or prior-year returns that were in that account.

Go to hrblock.com and use the person icon in the upper right-hand corner to sign in or create a new account. You can also bookmark the link at www.hrblock.com/login/, so you can access it again easily.

I no longer want my H&R Block account to administer my Government issued funds. How do I close my account? If you will no longer need the card or account, please complete an account closure form and send it to customersupport@dcbank.ca. Once we receive the signed form, we can close the account permanently.

H&R Block's online tax product is free only if you meet H&R Block's definition of a “simple return,” a tax situation that the FTC says many people think they have, but don't. It's also a tax situation that isn't defined — H&R Block can (and does) change what tax situations qualify for free at any time.

$0 + $0 per state filed. Allows you to file a 1040 plus limited Schedules 1, 2 and 3, which makes it usable by a lot more people than most other free software packages. Deluxe $55 + $49 per state. Itemize and claim several tax deductions and credits.

The CDs have fallen out of common use and represent significant environmental impacts. In addition, disk drives in home computers have become increasingly uncommon. For these reasons we no longer offer the CD. Don't worry, you can still buy and download our H&R Block tax software from our tax software page.

If you want to cancel your subscription, you must email billing@taxfiler.co.uk from the Primary user's email address to request this. We require this notice 30 days' in advance if you are paying monthly, or 60 days' in advance if you are paying annually.
