You definitely need to try this super moist sour cream blueberry bread. The sour cream adds just the right tanginess to the recipe, while also adding plenty of moisture. The blueberry bread itself is phenomenal and the lemon glaze is just perfect on top.

How to Make Sour Cream Blueberry Bread
Here’s what you’ll need to do in order to make this sour cream blueberry bread from scratch:
- Preheat the oven. Preheat your oven to 350℉.
- Prepare the loaf pan. Line an 8×4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Prepare the blueberries. Add either fresh or frozen blueberries and 2 teaspoons of all-purpose flour to a bowl and toss to coat. Set aside.
- Prepare the flour mixture. Add the flour, baking powder and salt to another bowl and mix to combine. Set aside.
- Beat the eggs and sugar. Use the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment to beat the eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy (about 3 to 5 minutes).
- Finish off the wet mixture. Add the sour cream, vegetable oil, lemon zest, lemon juice and pure vanilla extract and beat until well combined.
- Add the flour mixture. Add in the flour mixture and beat until smooth.
- Fold in the blueberries. Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Bake. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean).
- Cool. Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
- Drizzle. Drizzle the homemade lemon glaze over top of the cooled bread (see below for details on how to make).
- Serve. Slice the sour cream blueberry bread and serve.
