LA GRANGE, IL — Signs of fall are everywhere, from cooler nights and turning leaves, to pumpkin spice lattes and other products, and a sea of orange pumpkins in front of the grocery store.

Sonny Acres Farm in West Chicago

  • Attractions: The Sonny Express, self-feed zoo, pony rides, sweet shop, haunted hayride and haunted barn (starting Sept. 29)

  • Admission: Admission, required only on weekends and Columbus Day, costs $14 for adults and $12 for children ages 3-12. No admission required for kids ages 2 and under.

Didier Farms

  • Attractions: Animal Land Zoo, Corny Corn Maze, camel rides, agriculture rides, pumpkin playland, kids activities, bake shop, concessions. Horse-drawn wagon rides, draft horse rides and silly string are available only on weekends.

Admission for military personnel with ID and seniors 65 and older, available only at the gate, is $11.99. Free for kids age 2 and younger.
