What is the range of the CYC Photon battery? ›

Estimated range of the 624Wh battery over pretty testing Pennine terrain was around 50 miles, which is certainly respectably efficient. I don't normally have much to say about apps as I find they don't add much to the riding experience, but the CYC Photon app is the exception that proves the rule.

The PHOTON is a compact and lightweight mid-drive electric bike conversion kit made to create a smooth pedal assist feeling that feels natural and seemless. Rated at 750W & 110N. m. Compatible with 36V to 52V battery packs.

You should typically expect a battery to last between 3 and 5 years if it is well maintained. (A lithium-ion battery will slowly lose its capacity over time, even if it's not used.)

If the device is used daily and requires daily charging, a lithium polymer battery with a 300-500 charge cycle lifespan would last approximately 10 to 17 months (300 to 500 days) before experiencing noticeable capacity loss. Remember that adequately handling the lithium polymer battery can extend its life.

How do you convert photons to Watts? ›

Let's take a decent flux, say 50 million green (520 nm) photons per second. The energy (units = J) is equal to the frequency (units = 1/s) times Planck's constant (units = J*s). The wattage is the energy per unit time (watts = J/s).
